Bajaj ‘Pulsar 200NS‘ is a next generation bike that offers improvements in terms of styling and technology. It features new design for alloy wheels, instrument cluster, and fuel tank and side scoops.This bike is part of the attempt by Bajaj to change the perception of decade old Pulsar brand in the modern context. Emphasis is on to portray this bike as true sports bike to capture the imagination of the youth.

With changing scenario and customer preferences Bajaj decided to make changes in the brand Pulsar.

Any changes in design and style are done to suit technology wise. All changes in design and style are improving the performance of the bike like Lightweight chasis is designed to boost the bike’s speed and power and newly designed front of the bike I sharper, fiercer and more aggressive. Obviously this is going to boost the performance of the bike.

Design is inspired by Bajaj’s Pulsar 135 model and body type of the bike is based on Naked Sport. That is the reason NS acronym is being used in the Pulsar 200NS.

Technology wise it offers liquid-cooled 200cc engine which generate 23.17 bhp at 9500 rpm with maximum torque of 18.3 nm at 8000 rpm.

Pulsar200NS is capable of a top speed of 136 kmph.The bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/kmph in 3.6 seconds and 0 to 100 km/kmph in just 9.8 seconds.

A senior representative of Royal Enfield said that preferences of traditional bullet loving Indians has been kept in mind while designing the new version of Bullet.

In Financial Year 2013 Royal Enfield sold 1, 20,500 units of Bullet.
