Arvind Kejriwal is inching towards his political goal. After announcing Aam Aadmi Party he will contest in Delhi Assembly elections. It is yet to be seen whether he will be able to convert crowds to vote in his favour. Kejriwal adopted various means to gauge the public mood before announcing his candidature for the election. Though government response was lukewarm for his fast still he is hopeful to give political alternatives to Delhites.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal will contest the Delhi Assembly elections 2013.This has been confirmed by Aam Aadmin Party leader Manish Sisodia.
“Kejriwal will fight the elections, but from which constituency, we cannot say now…There has been a clamour for his fighting the Delhi elections,” AAP chief spokesperson Manish Sisodia told reporters
Party has started the process to select candidates and 5 candidates will be finalized by the screening committee of the Party. Public will suggest candidate for all 70 constituencies.
Candidates will have to go through the rigorous interview process before being finalized.
